2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STI
Turbocharged 2.5L 4 Cylinder Boxer Engine
Full-Time Symmetrical All Wheel Drive
Smooth-Shifting, 6-Speed Transmission w/ Short Throw Shifter
This 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STI is very clean both inside and out, with reasonable miles for the year. The strong, turbocharged 2.5L boxer engine is rated at 300hp, 300ft/lb torque, and emits an aura of euphoria to the driver’s seat at a rate of roughly 300 smiles per hour. Helping keep the power under control are a short throw, 6 speed transmission, driver controlled center differential, and a limited slip front differential, while a sport suspension, forged BBS alloys, and quick ratio steering will keep you pointed in the right direction at all times.
This STI, restored to original factory specifications with OEM Subaru parts, runs very strong and shifts smoothly, just as you’d expect from a late-model, low-mile Subaru. According to NADAguides.com, our price is far below the “Clean Retail” value of $20,500; check it out, you can either buy this gorgeous, unmodified, low-miles Subaru with a reconstructed title, or you can spend the same amount of cash on a clean-titled Subaru with 100,000+ miles.

This car was claimed as a loss due to “water damage,” meaning there was no structural damage. Rex swapped out all parts that touched water, including the complete interior, wiring harness, all electronics, rear-end, engine and transmission. The car has been test driven for upwards of 100 miles and all systems are operating perfectly, just as you expect from a Certified Rexconstructed Subaru.
Mileage represents the mechanical, interior, and electrical systems, but does not necessarily reflect the mileage of the original, flooded “shell,” whose odometer was non-functional when the car was received. As such, mileage on the title reads “Not Actual,” though it does represent the actual miles on the engine, transmission, suspension, electronics, interior, etc, etc.
Rex keeps thorough documentation of all of his repairs and would be happy to provide it upon request.
This car is in overall great condition, though there are a few cosmetic blemishes. The pain is in good condition, but does show wear in the form of light scuffs on the rear bumper, a ding on the left quarter panel, and various light scratches/imperfections typical of any used vehicle. Additionally, all four wheels have a bit of curb rash/corrosion along the edges.
The car is rock-solid mechanically, with no known defects.
Please keep in mind, however, that no used vehicle is perfect; expect some normal cosmetic and mechanical wear.
The car is fully serviced with fresh oil and fluids, with great all season tires. The Subaru Boxer engine is powerful and strong, and the transmission is a smooth shifting automatic. This STI has a valid West Virginia state inspection sticker, good through 10/14, and has a WV Reconstructed Title, ready to be transferred to and driven in any state of your choosing. The car is very fun to drive and performs just as it did before someone hurt this great-looking STI; just like you expect from your new 2009 Subaru with just 59,272 miles.
Rexspection Overall Grade: B
This is a fantastic car inside and out, and is kept from our coveted “A” grade only by the few cosmetic blemishes and wear. This STI has a very strong, very powerful engine and transmission with reasonable miles for the year, and is cosmetically very attractive. This car is perfect for all weather conditions and any road type, and with winter fast approaching, there couldn’t be a better time to own a Subaru.
